Bismarck, ND – The Industrial Commission of North Dakota today issued a Resolution of Appreciation to Jolene Kline for her 34 years of service to the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (Agency). Ms. Kline had informed the Commission of her retirement effective July 1, 2019.
In a joint statement the Commission said, “Jolene has been dedicated to the Agency’s mission of assisting North Dakotans in homeownership and meeting the challenge of providing affordable housing across the state. Her leadership and advocacy for affordable housing has made a difference in the lives of many North Dakota citizens and we thank her for her many years of service. We wish her the very best in her retirement.”
In further action the Commission named David Flohr as Acting Housing Finance Agency Executive Director effective July 2, 2019. Flohr has been with the Housing Finance Agency since 1984 and currently serves as the Agency’s Homeownership Division Director. He has extensive experience in overseeing the Agency’s home loan production and loan servicing operations and works with lenders across the state.
The Commission stated, “We look forward to working with Dave during this interim and appreciate his willingness to take on this leadership role.”
The Commission will be conducting a search over the next several months to fill the Executive Director position on a permanent basis.
A self-supporting state agency, NDHFA is dedicated to making housing affordable for all North Dakotans. The North Dakota Industrial Commission, consisting of Gov. Doug Burgum as chairman, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, oversees the agency.
