Bismarck, N.D. – The Industrial Commission today allocated an additional $100 million to support Bank of North Dakota’s (BND) 2026 Farm Financial Stability Loan Program. This brings total support to producers, including the 2026 Grain Inventory Loan Program, to $500 million.

Kelly Armstrong, Attorney General Drew Wrigley and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, today approved $1,000,000 in Renewable Energy Program matching grants in the latest round of funding awards. The Renewable Energy Program was established in 2007 to promote research and utilization of North Dakota’s renewable energy resources, including advanced biofuels. The grant program is funded solely by oil and gas production tax revenue. 

Bismarck, N.D. – The Industrial Commission today announced the expansion of the Grain Storage and Facility Rebuilder Program from Bank of North Dakota (BND) to include storms from the Aug. 7-8, 2025, weather events in addition to the June 20-21 storms. The program helps agricultural producers replace infrastructure, such as grain storage, livestock barns, machine shops, storage sheds and irrigation pivots. 

BISMARCK, ND - The North Dakota Industrial Commission acted today to support the construction of a natural gas pipeline, directing the North Dakota Pipeline Authority executive director to begin contract discussions with WBI Energy Transmission for the purpose of purchasing transport capacity, a critical financial commitment necessary to move a pipeline construction project forward.
