The North Dakota Transmission Authority Announces Special Grant Round for Electric Grid Resilience Projects

The North Dakota Transmission Authority (NDTA) is soliciting applications for utility electric grid resilience projects. The special grant round will have the capacity to award $2,843,075. Of this amount, 85% is from the Department of Energy IIJA Grid Resilience Formula Grant and 15% is from North Dakota state legislative appropriations.

The Bank has set aside $200 million for the program. Producers may apply through their local lender after working with them to determine if the program is appropriate for the producer’s situation.
