The North Dakota Industrial Commission joined employees of the North Dakota Mill, local officials, customers and suppliers today to celebrate the completion of 100 years in operation at the Grand Forks facility, as well as the recent commissioning of the new H and I milling units and the conversion of the D milling unit, resulting in a 22% increase in total milling capacity.

The North Dakota Industrial Commission today approved nearly $3 million in Outdoor Heritage Fund matching grants for eight conservation and recreation projects benefiting North Dakotans across the state. The funding, generated from oil and gas production tax revenue, supports projects such as access to public and private lands for sportsmen, farming and ranching stewardship practices, fish and wildlife habitat preservation and outdoor recreation areas.
