North Dakota's Lignite Research, Development and Marketing Program

North Dakota's Oil and Gas Research Program (OGRP) is a state/industry program designed to demonstrate to the general public the importance of the state oil and gas exploration and production industry, to encourage and promote the wise and efficient use of energy.

Fund grid modernization projects that result in a more resilient electrical grid and promote a clean and equitable energy economy in North Dakota.

 Projects that enhance conservation practices in this state by supporting one or more statutorily identified directives.  

Program's responsibilities include providing financial assistance as appropriate to foster the development of renewable energy and related industrial use technologies.
